Makeover Ministries

Makeover Ministries is a wonderful organization. The volunteers there are very friendly and they are very helpful. When I walked in the door it was a lot more than what I expected it to be. It was more than just clothing that I desperately needed but it offered so much more as far as furniture toiletries toys for children, and anything that somebody could possibly need to be able to rebuild their lives. I give it five stars all the way and I highly recommend this place to anybody who is in need.

I know what some people are probably already thinking, how can you give a charity that helps people out, a so so review right? Well hear me out, and maybe someone else will not leave feeling the way I did all 3 times I have gone there for help. To start Gabi is wonderful, and extremely helpful with no judgement at all! There is also a short, slightly older woman who wears glasses, and has short hair who is also wonderful, and I apologize to her for not knowing her name, but I also do not know the name of the 3 rd woman who is on the shorter side, and speaks Spanish ( I will not assume she is of a Latino descent) that I have encountered each time, and she is not kind at all! She has treated me so rudely after thinking about it for 24 hours I had to say something. I don't know if she is employed, or volunteering, but either way it shouldn't matter. She does not treat me with any kind of respect, or dignity. She has made me feel that I am a bother to her for asking questions, but what really upset me was her lack of empathy for someone already at a low point in their life, but still continued to treat me like I was beneath her. This post is already long enough, and I could go on and on, but my hope is that she is corrected so no other person has to feel the way I felt.
