I use the tennis courts.
They leave them unlocked for most of the year and maintain the courts well. The court material isn't hard concrete and the nets aren't tattered. The fencing is high enough to accommodating my bad hits. The courts are normally abandoned, especially in the evenings. After dark, the courts tend to be very dark, even with the field lights on unless they turn the court lights on.
They sometimes have a porta potty on the walkway to the courts.
There's parking at the university and behind the Walmart nearby.
