        What would I have done without Maynard House this week? Thats what I ask myself. I could not have had treatment, since I am too tired to drive back and forth daily (about 2.5 hr driving). This home is well appointed, comfortable and inviting. The people here have been warm and welcoming. That gentleness means so much when not feeling well, especially when its a long-term illness. Anne, especially, was reassuring and even informed me of interesting activities close by, should I have the energy. All in all so far ( my stay is not over), this has been a place that brought sunshine to my soul. I am grateful beyond words.

        Bless Maynard House and the people there! I stayed while my husband was having cardiac surgery & was treated more like family than a guest. I could not have asked for better treatment, especially given the circumstances. Maria was an absolute godsend to me, answering questions and helping me get through a very tough time. My eternal thanks to all of the people at Maynard House!
