Oceanfront Convenience Store & Lola's Kitchen

After a long trip traveling from Long Island Bahamas, we were cold and hungry. Stopped in and Lola was so welcoming, made me and my daughter Isabella (9 years old) feel right at home. Isabella who is usually quiet, chatted with Lola the entire time she prepared our food. We had a lamb gyro, chicken shawarma and chicken nuggets.. everything was great. Will definitely be back. It was almost closing and she was out of a lot of things so she pulled together the best zaatar and Lebanese rice with chicken shawarma!! Nicest lady!!

Lola made me a special breakfast sandwich both days I was there. She took great care to not use salt or oil to accommodate my special diet. I told her what I wanted and she made it to order and both times it was delicious! She even gave me milk for my decaf to take back to the room and did not charge me. I admired a beautiful shell on her counter and she gave me that as well! The sun was shining on us while we were eating outside and she put up an umbrella. Lola is a treasure and a beautiful gift from God! I will be looking for her and her cooking when I return.
