I gave them a chance against my better judgement. An individual was told to go there for help. They asked the individual a whole bunch of things the individual didn't want to speak about and judged said individual saying they must not have tried hard to hurt themselves since there wasn't scars. Unacceptable. The staff employees basically warned the individual he/she couldn't speak candidly to them or they would have to protect themselves from liability of the individual harming him/herself (after essentially accusing him/her of not trying hard enough to do so due to the lack of scars). They offered the individual food and an online support group a few months away from even starting but otherwise no help for the underlying life difficulties (abuse, homelessness, inability to find work, etc etc etc). Individual walked out feeling worse since they dredged up stuff and left individual on his/her own without any actual help. On top of it the staff disclosed significant sensitive personal/private medical info about another church member who the church had taken to a hospital for the church's concern of mental health issues and that the hospital failed to hold said church member. Said member ended up showing up shortly after this was disclosed so now the individual's identity is known. Shame, shame, shame.
