Made a quick stop in Exeter on our way from central New Hampshire to Salem, MA and decided to hop on these tours. Our guide was very informative and viewing and learning more about the tavern and Gilman home helped us connect more with the town and its long, foundational (somewhat overlooked) history. I particularly enjoyed seeing the historical documents inside the Gilman home. Definitely recommend touring the tavern and Gilman home if you are in Exeter!

Despite having made an appointment well in advance, the building was locked and no one was there to open it. It was disappointing.
