        I went to this place because it was close to where I work and figured it would be convenient, it was far from it. The parking is horrible and hard to get in and out of there. The lady who helped me was not very helpful and she even forgot about me because she was so involved with her sewing machine she had no decency to even look up and acknowledge she had a customer, she pricked me with the needle and also went through my panties. I was pricked trying to take them off. Needless to say I won't be going back and I don't suggest this place to anyone, I would suggest going to Seams To Fit on Manchester St. Plenty of parking and great help!!!

        Poor customer service. The work was improperly done the first time needing to be fixed. Then the work was not completed in advance of the pickup day so I rescheduled to the next morning and the work was still not completed. I waited to have it done that day. Unprofessional and overpriced. The work was completed but I won't be back nor would I recommend them. Service: Wedding gown alterations

        Crisis averted... Once Martha's realized their error on when the gown was supposed to be picked up they immediately finished the alterations on the gown even though they are currently on vacation so the bridesmaid now has her finished gown in hand ready for this weekend. Now this is what excellent customer service is all about.

      August 12, 2023, the customer had a fitting appointment at my business to begin the process on alterations for two wedding gowns for a 10/13/23 wear date. The appropriate work was completed for a second fitting on 9/15/23, and additional adjustments were needed, which is very common with gown alterations. A third fitting appointment was scheduled for 9/29/23. The day of the 9/29/23 appointment, the customer requested to reschedule her appointment to an earlier time, and I was not able to accommodate her. I offered to change the appointment to 9/30/23, which she accepted. An incomplete area on one gown was discovered by the customer at the 9/30/23 appointment and promptly and quickly fixed. Customers are informed of the cost of alterations prior to leaving the first fitting appointment and always have the choice to not continue with the process if they prefer not to pay the price I have quoted them.

      This situation was resolved by the business owner returning from vacation to meet the customer(not Kristen Jordan) for her to pick up her gown.The alterations on that gown were completed and ready for pick up August 18, 2023. The customer was informed of the pick up date at her first fitting appointment on July 28, 2023. As of August 1, 2023 we posted on our website and at the shop the vacation dates that our business would be closed.
