Zakre Law Office

I have used Sheila Zakre Law Office Twice in the last 2 years and have had nothing but the best representation. She answered all my questions about my appeals, she got back to me quickly and always kept me updated on where we were at in the case. Sheila is very knowledgeable and professional and I wouldnt even think of another attorney if I needed one again. I would call Sheila in a heartbeat. Im very happy with both outcomes of my cases and that Sheila fought hard for me. Five stars everyday!

We fired her rudeness, long-winded, wishy washy and open-ended advice, irregular (inflated and poorly itemized) billing, and missed emails/documents leading to unpreparedness for client meetings. Google reviews and Court records show her other clients have experienced the same. Shameful!

This law firm is great never had issue here. She has been great with my case. Very knowledgeable and has fought hard get me threw the appels so I can win my case that's deserved.

This Law Office is predatory with their consulting as Attorney Zakre is blatantly intentional in her long-winded delivery of advice as the rate is hourly. Edit: in response to the reply below, again, this is a predatory misrepresention. I was charged $59.50 for 36 minutes. Those additional 6 minutes were unnecessary in regards to the advice being communicated

Sheila Zakre was under contract with both my spouse and myself for our childs special education needs. We paid 2 invoices in full, showing good faith. My spouse and I fired for her rudeness and for breaking the terms of her own contract, including a missed email & document, which led to her unpreparedness for a client meeting. In that meeting, she treated me with arrogance and gave open ended advice that causes a client to ask more questions and run the clock. When we fired Ms. Zakre after the last very poor client meeting, she demanded pay ($315). Ms. Zakre produced incorrect billing itemization in her final bill. When we disputed the final bill, Zakre offered to reduce the bill by only $30, which we saw as unreasonable. We offered to meet her 1/2 way on the $315, but Zakre rejected this. Instead, she filed a small claim for $315 plus filing fee, and it seems she has plenty of billable hours to waste, because she sued us for less than an hour of her normal hourly rate plus court fees. Anyway, we ended up settling voluntarily not because of court judgment and without court mediation. We were not forced to pay. My review is simply about our genuine experience, just like the others on here.
