Fairfield Inn by Marriott Concord

Booked a king suite here for three nights! It was lovely. I was in breakfast area and my friend said "I'm a king!" We all laughed. Except one patron, who said he was in fact king. He followed us the entire trip. He saw us in Lincoln, Lyndonville, Plymouth- and he always reminded us HE was king. I was able to take this photo before my phone shut off. When he was around, my phone battery would DROP. He is not to be trusted as king. I would not let him lead my country. Anyways, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the amenities for the price are wonderful. I will stay here again when they do not have vindictive royalty in-house.

Comfortable bed, great pillows, good location right off the highway. Only drawback was a little noise from the highway at night.

The place is dirty, the staff is rude and the walls are paper thin, so you can hear people talking in rooms across the corridor. I have stayed in Fairfield Inns all around the US and they are usually fine but this one is hands-down the worst. Upon check in I was told that they only "refreshed" the rooms every three days, which is ridiculous. Most likely ownership is too cheap to pay for enough staff to clean or doesn't pay a reasonable wage. I only saw one housekeeping person in the entire hotel while I was there. In any event my room smelled and had many stains on the furniture, so it certainly reflects a lack of care. The last time I stayed they had two wedding parties, and they were running around in the corridor at 3am. Staff was completely unhelpful.
