Not sure if the patches he prescribed or the compound med he has me on but I saw great improvement in mobility and being almost pain free. I resumed normal activities and glad I went to see him. I'm 20 months post op from spinal fusion.

I cannot accept a Doctor that does not respect their patients time. My appointment was at 8:00a, and was asked to be there at 7:45a (new patient ). I arrived on time, and the office was dark. No one in yet. Front desk person arrives at 7:55, did not acknowledge me. Ok, I go to the window, check in, sit back down. I notice a woman coming in at 8:10, and going into the office. I assume this is the Doctor (it was). This is already 10 mins pat my appointment time. At 8:15 I am brought into the exam room. 8:25 I decided to walk out and ask the front desk person if my appointment was for 8:00? She acknowledges it was. I said ok, well, Im leaving and I want to be refunded and explain all of the above to her. Dr Leahy heard me and came out to the hall. She promptly apologized, and said she didnt realize I was there so early (?). I said I was here when I was asked to be, and that I noticed she didnt arrive until 8:10, yet my appointment was at 8:00, and I told her that is very rude. So, I leave in tears, because Im in a lot of pain, but Ill be damned if I will hire a doctor that does not respect me or my time. That is not the kind of doctor or office I want to be a part of.

This dr hurt me so bad doing an IME that I literally cried for over a month even in my sleep, iwas told. My daughter was so upset she called. Then said Dr proceeded to claim "I let him" do more than he thought. When he said I didn't have a choice what was being done. I've been followed by several Pain Specialists Professors for many many years. Been disabled since 2017. And this Dr sees me once and flared my pain for months! And said I didn't ever suffer from what I've been suffering for 20 years! Not very professional in My Opinion

Met Dr. Lewis the first time in 2019 for treatment after a car accident. Personally, I experienced the type of injury you either go down the path of pain medicine or the other which is, you just work it. You just get busy and work it; and that's what he did for me. Over a year of treatment and we finally got to the point where, not cured, but tolerated. Had one point of (symptom) regression about six months after this, and again, he just worked the problem. Fast forward to over a year later, literally today. I started experiencing even worse symptoms for a while and met again with him. He didn't ask what happened? What changed? Literally explained the how/why my problem can come back, added things I can do to help with mobility, and then treated it again. One visit: in, relief, out. This practice? It just, works!

I brought my 83 year old Dad to see Dr. Lewis in August for testing on his right hand for carpel tunnel syndrome. Dr. Lewis was extremely rude and condescending to him and interrupted him while he was explaining his symptoms throughout the visit. He abruptly interrupted him saying, "That was a yes or no question!" He actually yelled at my father after instructing him to move his thumb screaming "Gently, I said gently" as though my Dad were a 6 year old child! He insinuated that my Dad abuses alcohol and that this is what contributed to his condition when my Dad rarely ever touches alcohol! My dad had to say twice to him that he rarely touches it. Honestly, I cannot remember a time when we were treated with such impatience, hostility and arrogance. I don't know who Dr. Lewis thinks he is but I can tell you one thing... we will NEVER recommend anyone to go there to receive such abuse. There are a lot of capable and compassionate caregivers out there. Do yourself a favor and find another doctor! Just because someone may have graduated from medical school does not mean they should be in the profession of practicing medicine. This man is utterly void of compassion and is only filled with a huge admiration of himself!
