Acadia Insurance

I would give this company 0 stars if it were possible. My vehicle was damaged at a property that they insure. The garage door literally closed on the roof of my vehicle causing damage to it. My claim was denied because “there was no other incident prior to or after my incident”. I told the agent, Katie, that the garage door was nonfunctional for days after the incident and a garage company came out to fix the garage. So the argument that no other incident occurred after is invalid because the garage door was fixed. She also told me that if the garage door closed on my vehicle due to a malfunction then it is not the property’s fault because they did not know this was going to happen. This make literally no sense. How can you predict a mechanical failure. They are obviously a fraudulent company and I have filed complaints with the BBB and Massachusetts Division of Insurance Regulations. I can’t believe that after waiting patiently for 2 months my claim was denied based off of these reasons. How are they not responsible? Their garage door closed down on my vehicle, how does that make any sense at all???? I’m obviously not the only one who has been treated so unfairly by this company as other reviews on here show. This isn’t an insurance company, it’s a scam.
