Professional, compassionate and talented. Ken did an amazing job on a granite bench I purchased in memory of my wife for my children and I. He took a vision and created a reality and did so with an incredible amount of empathy and care. His focus was on what was best for the kids and I not his bottom line. My dad's stone was absolutely beautiful! Selecting Dad's stone was a very difficult time for me and Ken's professionalism and patience were beyond compare. The stone work he does is exceptional. He is a truly a great craftsman! Thank you, Ken!

I went to Vermont Stone Sculpting for a headstone. Ken Maurice, the sculptor, warmly greeted me and as we discussed the sculpture, he came to know me personally. Throughout the process, I received photos and updates. He is a true professional working artist and thoughtful in this manner. I couldnt be more pleased with the results. He made me feel like a member of his own family by creating from stone something so perfect, unique, creative, delicate, lovely, and enduring.

We recently hired Ken to engrave a stone that has been in the cemetery for over 30 years. The stone needed to be cleaned as it had a lot of lichen on it. The stone was just cleaned and looks beautiful. Ken took the time to show us how adding the 3 family members that recently passed, would look. He needed to do a lot extra work so that it looked like all the names were added to the stone at the same time.
The 3 family members names were just added to the stone and everyone, I mean everyone, is totally impressed with the finished product. Ken had initially told us the names wouldn't be added until Spring 2024, however, so we could have the names there before winter, he went to the cemetery last week.
Ken had the cheapest price, but the reason we chose him was because he was very passionate about his craftsmanship. Cheaper is NOT always BETTER, but in this case, it was. I would recommend his work to anyone needing it. It's great to know that even when times are sad, work like what Ken did for us, can uplift your spirits. It's not a great thing that 3 names needed to be added to this stone, after 30 years, but it is a great thing with the way they came out. As Ken said, they look like they were all added to the stone at the same time. I couldn't be more pleased with his craftsmanship and his kindness and thoughtfulness.
