Visiting Angels

I highly recommend Visiting Angels of Bedford for in-home assistance for aging loved ones. First, Kristie and staff immediately responded with professionalism and kindness for a short notice respite care request. Within a day I had information on all services and pricing to help discern our situation. The in-home consultation was wonderfully managed by Emily, who took time to get to know my mom and her concerns. She explained everything in plain language and with patience. The caretakers were professional yet personal with my mom, helping with ADLs, walking exercise, and playing games. We will definitely be returning to Visiting Angels for future care.

Visiting Angels have been providing home care for my mom since 2020, they are truly a god send! They have provided tremendous peace of mind to my family knowing that there is a kind, capable person with her a few hours a day every day making sure she's ok. My mom has early stage Alzheimer's and needs help with basic things, like making sure she is taking her medications, eating proper meals, keeping up with hygiene and cleaning, taking her to appointments, and running errands. As her condition has progressed, we've increased her care over time. The staff are wonderful: they keep her company, are persistent to work through the challenges of working with my mom as she can be quite stubborn at times, and they've been great at communicating things to her family that are important for us to know. I also appreciate that they are very receptive to input from the family. We had started with a different agency early on that didn't meet her initial needs, and I'm so glad we switched to Visiting Angels because they really are angels!
