    CGI Business Solutions had been our insurance broker for 10+ years. We engaged 6 months in advance of our renewal to do a full review of health insurance options, something that had not been in more than 10 years of working with CGI. The agent was extremely difficult to connect with and try to schedule a call (I'll talk to you a month or so before renewal"). We would have been happy with an industry article that walked us through all the different options but got nothing. Finally, some progress was made and we were told that other options existed. When the info came 4 months later, it was very sparse and only contained the same plans we had. There was no explanation of why the other plans were deemed inappropriate. When I asked about MA Connector as an option, they simply did not respond (probably because they make more money and do less work renewing the same old plans. That said, I wouldn't know for sure because they never explained). Ultimately, it was a waste of time to try to have them educate us about our options. I was told "we're the experts and you just need to accept what we say".

    Can I just say that Kelly Bryant is a miracle worker? She says she just understands the government, but I think she might be a legit angel because she saved my sanity today. Thank you so much Kelly, I am literally crying after talking to you because Im so relieved right now. So my husband has kidney stones, hes been getting them since he was 17 but we just went to the ER recently and found out that he had them again, even worse than the last episode around 5 years ago. I was so scared for him because we lost our state insurance recently, so that was really scary because we didnt understand anything about it. Like one day hes covered, and then the next day hes apparently making waaaay too much to re-qualify. We were really stressed out and didnt know what to do. I tried to apply for the marketplace myself, but it was so confusing. Also, we were not aware that in order to switch to his workplace insurance he wouldve had to apply for it within 30 days of losing state coverage, so by the time he asked HR, it was too late. We did not know where to start; luckily, someone got me in touch with Kelly, who helped to make it so much easier for us. I mean, there was a little issue with the website where the application was refusing to load, but thats not on her. Ultimately, today she helped us get him insurance and I thought it wasnt going to happen today. Originally, we thought it was gonna be around $350 a month and since Im in school at the moment, that was a stressful number. But somehow she was able to lower it to under $10 for us. This is a huge weight off my shoulders, financially and mentally, so I am just so thankful to her. Please give this woman a raise and a gold medal or some cupcakes or something, I dont know shes just awesome. Kelly, thank you again. My husband Nick says thank you so much as well.
