First I tried to access the lake from Garson Road but the path at the split was blocked off with barbed wire, forcing you to go another direction. I decided to go back to 80 and take exit 2, which has three very steep switchbacks w no guards. The terrain from this way is steep and the roads are heavily weathered. I read amd viewed all pics and videos from others after visiting that the property. Others have mentioned the trail has hungry mountain lions at least in March or shortly preceding, that the property is riddled with trash like broken glass and water heaters, vandalized with graffiti and bullet holes, has had people shooting guns without knowledge of others nearby, and may not be suitable for visiting due to liabilities risks. The private property the lake is on is now blocked off to trespassers with a hanging sign crossing over the path when coming from exit 2. Just wanted to let everyone know!
