ier is also don's generators LLC came to fix my Kohler generator that was throwing a "frequency low shutdown " error he said he didn't know what that means I explained to him that the generator under load would fluctuate in rpm and shutdown, he said the linkage needs changed. so he changed the linkage and 2 spark plugs ran the generator with no load and said it's fixed. his bill was 524 doLars for 25 minutes of work and 15 dollars in parts, he charged me for over 2 hours of travel time plus 150 dollars mileage fee. when the generator was needed to charge my off grid batteries 2 days after his repair it failed again with same error code. his answer was lower the load on the generator which I did from 30 amp gradually to 15 amp still same error code. finally I figured out the throttle governor was bad and replaced it myself and got the generator running under load. Kohler needs technicians in Reno otherwise this is my last Kohler , generac has better service in town and will buy my next generator from them.

It's been a while since Don helped with my generator problems but there is no one I would trust more.  He is a decent man, always ready to offer his best advice, and true to his word.

I called Don and told him my RV Onan Generator would start then stop after only a couple of minutes. He asked a few questions and quickly guessed it to be a faulty fuel pump, which it was. He told he could come to RV site and fix it there the NEXT MORNING ! ! He arrived, had all the parts needed and repaired it in 1.5 hours. It runs perfectly. I really appreciated his quick response and having all the parts needed. He also did a full service on the generator. Don is the MAN ! ! You won't go wrong having Don work on anything generator wise. I plan on making a trip to Sparks from my home in Napa to get some additional maintenance done that he suggested cause I feel he's that good. You will not go wrong contacting Don should you need some generator repair done.

They have been great tool repair company for years. Sadly no more tool repairs but if you have a home back up generator they do Mobil generator maintenance and repairs. Spread the word! This has been a great company and I wish them the best
