Dentistry for Children

We had a dental emergency with our almost 2 year old when he broke a tooth. We had established with a dentist already but our experience with our first and only visit at their office was horrible and we didn't want to take our lil guy back there so when my husband saw the reviews for this office we decided to give it a try. EVERYONE at this office helped from the first call. They were able to get us in immediately even though we were not established with them yet. They helped us with insurance and held the time slot for us until my husband switched everything with insurance. It was a miracle already. Then upon arrival we were greeted with a very friendly welcome, we didn't have a long wait to go back and when we went back we were not rushed or uncomfortable. When Dr.Chen came in he left the door open and introduced himself and chatted with us for a few minutes before even talking about the dental issue so we were comfortable with him. He made us feel very welcome and that he was happy to help. I'm very emotional when it comes to my babies and he read that immediately and made sure he explained everything to me and gave me options so I would be confident in the choice we make going forward with the dental emergency. He made sure to calm any concerns me or my husband had and what he said would happen is exactly what happened. Even after yhr procedure Dr.Chen came to talk to me and just put me at ease about it all. He is so personable and patient with parents and kids. We never felt like we were just a patient and a paycheck. Dr. Chen really clearly loves what he does and loves working with children. Not to mention the environment of the office is so kid friendly and fun. Multiple screens with movies on, a big waiting room and even a mini arcade. When we were done my baby was given toys and some dental goodies and he left a happy camper. I truly could not imagine going through what we did today going any better than it did and it's all thanks to Dr.Chen and his amazing staff! If you have kids I don't think there's a better place to take them for dental care. I'm so grateful we found them and we absolutely will not go anywhere else. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND COMING TO THIS DENTAL OFFICE. I PROMISE YOU WONT REGRET IT!

I am a mom of 4 take ALL my kids to this practice. I been going there since my oldest son been 4 hes now 14 never had an issue. Everyone super friendly. DR CHAN IS THE BEST! He so awesome with all my kids and love how he remembers his patients. I always refer anyone to go here as well I was a patient myself in my early life! BEST DENTAL OFFICE FOR KIDS!

If you have a child with anxiety about going to the dentist, look no further. Ive tried multiple dentists in Reno for my daughter and they were never even able to get through a routine cleaning. Dr. Michael and her team are so friendly and they know all of the tricks to help kids feel at ease with dental work. I highly recommend them!
