I have to move equipment from time to time and need to rent trucks and trailers. This location has this one employee that has helped me every time through the years. This last visit was on the 1st of the month. The place was packed and yet she got the flow going and got us all on our way as fast as possible. She's a gem.

***update: the general manger of the Oddie location reached out personally and apologized and gave me an additional refund which is greatly appreciated. To be honest, the quick response to my review is quite impressive. The U-Haul website said the Virginia st location had a pickup truck available but when I went in person to rent it there was not one available. The staff at that location was able to look up to see there was a pickup truck available at the Oddie location. So she made me a reservation so I could just go pick it up then. When I got to the Oddie location they tell me they do NOT have the pickup truck available. I ended up renting a 10 van because I did not want to keep driving around town. I paid for 25 miles upfront but only ended up using 20 miles so I expected a refund once I returned it. Not only did I not get a refund, I was charged an extra $36.73 because they said I didnt return it with the amount of gas I received it with. Lesson learned I will take a picture of the gauge next time because I know I returned it with MORE than what I was given. I submitted a dispute with proof of gas purchase for $17.49. $17.49 was 4 gallons of gas. 4 gallons of gas is definitely more than 20 miles worth of driving so the van was obviously returned with more gas than I used. A manger responded and gave me a $32.48 but that is only a portion of what is owed to me. I should be receiving the entire $36.73 PLUS the refunded 5 miles. Im leaving this review because I am disappointed the refund wasnt settled correctly and the $8 more owed to me isnt worth driving out of my to the Oddie location to get it handled.
