Jon Hughes w LPT Realty is an exceptional realtor to any person needing his diplomatic & above board services. I was in Reno for surgery at the Reno VA Medical Center when Covid19 delayed me there. I had to purchase a house for myself, 3 large dogs and a C-Class coach RV. When I returned to my home in HI, 3 years later, I purchased another home; so needed to sell my NV home in an HOA. I hired him long distance w the recommendation of my HI realtor Lisa Roach. As a former HI realtor myself I knew the process but I needed a NV expert. JON was wonderful at returning my calls & texts & emails, helped w my houseitter to vacate to retrieve keys. Jon even met with & helped a friend of mine to give her a few of my belongings. My friend commented how sharp his appearance was plus so personable and polite to her as he loaded her car. He texted and emailed me w estimates for repairs and even fixed a sprinkler leak when my water bill was high & confusing since the house was vacant . He remedied this immediately without delay. The photographs of the house & property were amazing and the listing I couldn't have done it better myself. He also maintained the landscape w his brother's landscaping business and never even charged me. Although he had some personal and professional dilemmas along the way he never alerted me to any shortcomings. I am a veteran and he is too; I trusted him at a time when 15 other realtors were calling me to list due to high demand and low inventory. In a downward trending market plus high interest rates and appraisals coming in low for loans and cash buyers hesitant to take on any repairs; I was frustrated being so far away. I was amazed at how his coping skills and due diligence was superb! I did a 3 month contract w Jon and my house sold to a first time buyer 3 weeks prior to our contract ending. He's caring and compassionate when both my dogs had surgery and I couldn't fly out there; Jon reassured me all was good. The most selfless thing Jon did was to reduce the commission so both buyer & seller wouldn't have a reason to cancel. Jon gave up his money; to make sure I was happy as his client and able to close this chapter of my life and move forward. When u need a real estate agent u should hire Jonathan Hughes without reservations as anyone else would pale in comparison. All that stress of double mortgages in HI & NV, utilities for both, HOA fees and yard care is behind me. I am financially free and can live my life in paradise. I hold Jon in high esteem because of the regal caliber of person that he is. JON'S morals and values coincide w mine and he stuck w me til the end. Am fortunate to have someone as diligent as he is; I will 4-EVER be grateful and u will be too! His ambition, determination and follow thru is outstanding not to mention his calm, cool collective nature and constant reassurance was priceless to me. An honorable & humble man I just can't say enough about him.

Jon made this experience so easy and enjoyable. He was very flexible with showing times. I absolutely recommend him he is very friendly, outgoing and will go the extra mile for you in any way. He his very knowledgeable and will honestly help you find the perfect home that you desire. We are so thankful to have chose him as our agent and will definitely recommend him to others and be in touch for future plans.

Jon is very knowledgeable and thoroughly does his homework on every property. He worked with our availability schedule and was always willing to make a viewing happen at our convenience and meet with us often on weekends and after hours. We really enjoyed working with him and highly recommend. How work ethic, friendliness, knowledge, and follow-through, make him the perfect agent to work with!

Sometimes realtors get a bad wrap. Consumers think theyre just in it for the money. And although that may be true for some, its not with Jon Hughes. I responded to an add on Zillow and was immediately bombarded with realtors touting their real estate successes. How long theyve been selling and all the awards theyve earned and houses theyve sold and me me me me me. Then they continued to blow up my email with for sale notifications on homes Id never buy. Not Jon. He asked questions about my needs, lifestyle, timeline, budget, familiarity with the area and actually listened. 5 months later and a whole lot of showings, we closed on a home! Heres what Jon brings to the table: 40+years as a Washoe County resident, hes well connected, an analytical thinker, has a keen eye for potential problems, punctuality, responsiveness, intelligence, professionalism and patience. Hell return your texts at 10pm, and 5:45 am! Jon is a wonderful realtor and would do you proud.
