This property ( Locust St Apts) has slowly but surely been improving in so many ways. The building is old so it can throw you off, however once inside the unit this is LITERALLY the best price for quality on a fixed income in the WHOLE city. They are clean, neighbors are quiet and the landlords Vicki and Barb are so compassionate. I recommend it 100%. I'm almost sad to go, it's been home for a few years, but we've outgrown it. You can not beat the quality for such a low price. And no bugs or mousies Oh, if you need maintenance it's FAST. They respond in a very timely manner.

Barbara, a property manger at Realty World was very unresponsive to 3 emails I sent so 2 days later I called her to discuss an issue that needed to be resolved. She did not listen to what I had to say and she doesn't have the slightest knowledge of how an escrow disperses funds. She ended up giving the wrong person part of the rent owed to me. She doesn't care. She also told us that she had contacted tenants so that we could do inspections.  In fact she had not notified them and if it weren't for Christmas vacation and the kids were home the 2 inspectors, 2 realtors and my self would not have been able to enter the house. To top it off she sent a copy of a lease with a higher rent than the tenants were paying so the profit was not what had been presented to me prior to buying the property.  All in all a very bad experience.  The owner of the company also must not have any knowledge of how funds are dispersed either because he felt it wasn't his problem and that they had done what they were supposed to do.
