Made an appointment for a family member. All they want is the money. Basically harassed them for the copay. We do not have any copay for our insurance. They called repeatedly and threatened to cancel the appointment it we do not pay upfront. I called and they reduced the amount considering we have already met out out of pocket expense. But the amount is still ridiculous. They also change the appointment to a video chat. Seems like a scam place just wanting money. No wonder we are in a mental health crisis.

Made an appt as a new patient they kept trying to collect payment for a copay before the appt. I did not have a copay, per my insurance I do not have a copay. So they are just trying to collect money. They just wanted to argue with me.

IF zero stars was an option, I would choose that. Do NOT schedule an appointment here if you want help with your mental health. They don't care about you or your wellbeing. All visits are telehealth. There is a physical office in Reno, NV but the appointment is still over a video call. The link was never sent on time for any of the appointments and yet they were able to call and demand payment immediately. I had to call multiple times to get a link for my appointment because the link was never sent before the scheduled appointment time or without having to ask. TL;DR my prescription refills were denied and I ended up being hospitalized for several days. I made an appointment with Mr. Busari at A.M.H.S. in September 2023 after my psychiatrist of 20 years retired. I thought this office would help me with my ongoing treatment and diagnoses that I have medications for but received nothing but more issues and heartache. After my first virtual visit, I was prescribed additional medications, a new diagnosis and changed from one medication to another, with a lengthy weaning process. The new medication also reacts with my old medication and can cause serious and dangerous health issues. I was on FOUR (4) medications at once and despite that, Mr. Busari wanted my dosages higher and to prescribe even more medications. I went from having emotions to being a robot. During my October 2023, again virtual, appointment Mr. Busari questioned me as to why I was on so many different medications and why my dosages were so high. I didnt prescribe the medications to myself, and he didn't know what I was taking or care to keep track. He acted like I was a burden and should know better to have all these prescriptions. In December 2023, I had an appointment near the end of the month and was running low on medications. Despite calling four or five separate times to have them send in refills to my pharmacy, they never did before I ran out completely. Every time I was told that someone would call me back regarding the refills I was requesting. I never received a call back and I was told to stop calling because they will call me. I began taking half doses to stretch out my medications prior to Christmas and ran out by the 27th of December. I made a request for emergency refills to my pharmacy on the 27th. They could only give 3 days worth. That covered me until the December 31st. This is when I found out Mr. Busari DENIED my refills even after those calls pleading with them to refill my prescriptions. I had made an appointment with a new provider, but the appointment wasnt until January 3rd, due to the holidays. I was unmedicated, having withdrawals, my psychological state was in chaos, and I was scared. On the 7th of January 2024, I was taken to the hospital due to suicidal thoughts and self-harm. I was admitted to Northern Nevada Medical Center where I was held for 12 hours, until I was transferred to the behavioral health unit at St. Marys Regional Medical Center. I was on hold for four days before being released. I cannot stress this enough, this place is a waste of your time and money if you actually want to get the help you are looking for.
