My friend and I were enjoying Aspire YA but we're severely disappointed when they brought in a guest speaker that asked the group to raise their hand if they were Republican and proceeded to state that the group should vote in that way if they were Christian. This speaker actively disnouced the LGBTQ+ community and democrats. They handed out the following flyer with incorrect statements about what both political parties believe. I pray that the people of this church find love for all of God's people and know that we are all created in the image of God. Don't lose hope, there are so many affirming and loving churches in Reno-Sparks. This is not it

Pastor Phil's Bible Studies (Sermons) are the best verse by verse Bible teaching I've witnessed since Pastor Chuck Smith (AKA Papa Chuck). If you're looking for straight-up Biblical teaching and interpretation, this is the church you've been looking for. 2 Timothy 2:15, "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." Pastor Chuck would be so proud, Phil! 3 John 1:4, "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth." We Praise God for letting us find CCRS even before we moved out here from Southern California 2 years ago.
