Left review awhile back and he somehow got rid of it. Wonder why? Because he is lazy, never in office, and lied about my vehicle insurance and cost me 500.00. Avoid this place

I have been with American National for eight years and I am happy with the company just NOT with AL DENNIS. You can rarely get a hold of him and when you do he makes empty promises. I recently  added a trailer to my policy and had ask him to give me a quote on insuring my business, that was Feb.14th and today is Feb27th no quote. I have made numerous attempts to reach him on the phone to no avail. He has no answering machine it only goes to the corporate office. I don't want to deal with corporate that's why I have a local agent. So this morning I called yet again same thing it went to corporate, I explained my situation to an agent there and expressed my frustrations with MR Dennis, he said he would reach out to him. Oddly enough I received a call from MR. Dennis within minutes. He said he was unaware of my attempts, and my reply was well if you would answer the phone or have an answering machine maybe you would know. I also stated he must have so much business and he is not interested in mine. He stated " you have already started off on the wrong foot with me I don't want your business" and he hung up on me. So my advice to anyone out there seeking insurance through American National, get a different agent! This guy AL Dennis is a real Jerk!!
