Doctor's are probably phenomenal, but I just could not get passed the incompetency of the office staff. The straw ended today when was not given an answer why I was not in the system to order my prep kit. Instead I was given a grocery list to shop myself for prep supplies. Horrible bed side manor and calling them is pointless

I like very much dealing with my practitioner, Mary Helmreich. This practice, on the other hand, could desperately use a business manager before they manage to drive all of their patients away. (It very much irritates me to have to press one for English. I thought most businesses had figured out that that was a non-starter 20 years ago.) They do not answer the phone, unless you select the option that is for other practitioners, that one they will answer almost immediately. I have never had a voicemail returned, so if you do need to discuss something with them you have to physically drive to the office to do so. Their portal is half baked, and basically useless. If it wasn't for the fact that there are only two gastroenterology practices in the Reno Sparks area, I would not be going here. Case in point- I just received a return phone call from a voicemail that I left on February 13th. Today is the 27th.

Stunningly awful! Far more about fee generation than healthcare. Zero continuity of care likely because they burn through staff on par with a fast food restaurant. Not responsive in communications, even with other doctors. Hospital and GP both commented on this being a known issue. Seems they are taking advantage of lack of competition to abuse both patients and the professional staff that worked/works for them. Avoid them if at all possible because it Is difficult to impossible to change to a different GI practice in this region once these shysters get their grips on you.

Place felt really comfortable. Looked like a family living together, with everyone talking and helping each other. At each step in the procedure, I was given more than enough details, especially from the sedation specialist (or doctor) and of course Dr. Pez was awesome. Still remember what he told me before beginning the procedure "I will treat you like my family, and I love my family". Appointment scheduling was smooth, requested one on the patient portal and received a phone call same day (was Saturday) to select date and time. Pretty impressed there. You just need to be a patient of the place and have done the office visit already, as I don't think you can go there and request endoscopy without prior office visits at the place.
