    Title: Poor Service and Unreasonable Demands at Capital Insurance Review: I recently contacted Capital Insurance to get a quote for car insurance, expecting a professional and customer-centric experience. Unfortunately, my interaction with them was anything but satisfactory. I explained to the representative that I was the sole driver of the vehicle and needed the insurance solely for myself. Despite this, they insisted on obtaining my wife's personal information to exclude her from the policy. I found this request unnecessary and intrusive, considering the policy was meant only for my use. When I expressed my reluctance to share my wife's personal details, the response was both shocking and disappointing. The representative refused to proceed with the quote and abruptly ended the call. There was no attempt to understand my situation or provide alternatives. This experience left me feeling my wife's personal information to exclude her from the policy. I found this request unnecessary and intrusive, considering the policy was meant only for my use.     They suck!! Wont take responsibility for their stew up, now I owe dmv 500. Stephy couldnt care less. Im 61 and this is the first review I have ever written on google. Thats how bad they are. Customer service sucks. Every time I call they patch me through to progressive insurance. What do I have an agent for?

    I was shopping around for insurance on my auto and home. I called a lot of places but Capital Insurance Service, Stephanie Navarro the manager and Chantal were able to help me with my bundle and they saves me $1200 for a whole year and it was a awesome service. I highly recommend it.

    Terrible, incompetent, ignorant. This company has terrible customer service. Numerous complaints have been filed with Progressive about this company. (Capital is a sales agent for Progressive) regarding policies administered locally in Nevada. Additionally, numerous complaints filed with Nevada Department of Insurance. Progressive and the State of Nevada are currently investigating this agency for misconduct and violation of State Insurance Law. Progressive is currently "re-evaluating their relationship" with Capital Insurance. Capital Insurance tried to cancel my Progressive insurance policy because I would not make a special visit to their Reno office to sign forms that had already been provided to Progressive. Progressive contacted Capital and informed them that "all forms had already been provided and that all paperwork was complete". Additionally, the policy was paid in full in advance". Progressive also told Capital that when the policy renews (in 6 months) a new local agent would be assigned and no further involvement from Capital was required or wanted. Regardless, Capital continued to send ignorant/unpleasant texts and emails demanding (under threat of cancellation) the duplicate forms. Progressive tried on two separate occasions to intervene. Regardless, Capital filed the paperwork to cancel my policy. Progressive blocked the 10 day notice of cancellation and assigned a "Progressive direct sales supervisor" to administer my account. In addition to State insurance law violations, capital is under investigation by the United States Justice Department, Civil Rights Division for violation of ADA Law, regarding their mistreatment of citizens with disabilities.
