Dr. James A. Cunningham, MD

Do not let these absurd and obviously fake "attempted grandfather killing" comments fool you, Dr. Cunningham is one of the best. You can also disregard any outlandish comments saying that he or his staff are rude or do not prioritize the patient above all else. He is one of the few urologists in Northern Nevada who makes an effort to personally get to know you and shows how he genuinely cares for each patient. He has a long standing reputation that speaks for itself. His office is great with communication and the staff is excellent. I would strongly recommend Dr. Cunningham to everyone.

Waited over a week for a referral to set up an appointment. When they called I asked a few question about pricing due to not having insurance. I wasnt given even an attempt at an answer or information I was requesting. I was then told that I wouldnt be able to get in to see the doctor for over 4 months. This is for sever abdominal pain requiring a cat scan and ultra sound. The receptionist was extremely cold and uncaring offering no help whatsoever

I've had no problems with James Cunningham and his staff .Once in awhile communication fails. otherwise Everything is fantastic..I've been hereI've been here five years and the coronavirus is the only reason why the communication is a little slow sometimes otherwise five stars...

Dr Cunningham almost killed my 94 yr old father-in-law by doing a procedure in the office without anesthesia. He was in extreme pain and my Mom was very traumatized as were the office staff. Being a staff nurse in a hospital myself, I feel this procedure should have been done in the hospital setting under anesthesia. I would not recommend this doctor.
