Nan&Pete were part of my childhood. I learned alot and met grirnds I still have today as well as their children. Wonderful people and they were so good to me and I developed many good traits as well.

This is a wonderful place they take very good care of your children. And when your child comes home injured they always let you know how and where they got hurt. They teachers are very kind and like all the children equally. They take your children on field trips during the summer if your child is 5 or up.

I am new to the area and was looking for childcare for my two year old. I spoke with the owner, Janine over the phone. She sounded very sweet and we set up a time for me to take a look at the facility. When I got there I knew right off the bat that this was the perfect place for my daughter. I told Janine over the phone and again during our tour about my daughter's peanut and egg allergies which require an Epi-Pen. I could tell that it made her nervous, but she explained to me that the entire staff had just been trained on how to administer the Epi-Pen if needed. She did tell me that she wanted to speak with her staff before enrolling my daughter because there were no other attending children with allergies. I told her that I was more than willing to speak with her staff about precautions to take with my daughter and what to look for in the event of an allergic reaction. Unfortunately when I called her back the following week to thank her again for the tour, she informed me that they would not be able to accept my daughter as it would not be fair to the other children. I was disappointed but appreciated her honesty. But the more time that passes the more upset I am.. Bottom line, this is not only discrimination, but illegal. The entire staff was recently trained on administering an Epi-Pen but will not enroll a child that requires one. Kid's Kind of Place is a LICENSED daycare and should be able to provide care to all children. Not to mention, they accept payment through Children's Cabinet which is government funded through tax dollars.. Including mine.. The mother of a child with allerigies, yet I can't enroll her. Very disappointing.
