We are on a well. About a month ago all of sudden we edid not have water, I called Kawchack and they were out immediately to help solve my problem. When they inspected the well head, the electrical wires that is attached to the well pump were hanging and very tight. Tony said this is not good, said we need to get them repaired. He suggested while they were in the well might as well have the pump replaced. Our house was built in 2000, finding out that the life expectancy is 12 to 15 years. The whole crew were very knowledgeable and had the new pump put in in a timely manner, being conscience of the clock ticking for the cost to have the work done. I would recommend them any time.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! Kawchack's business model is to replace your well pump and piping. This is how they make money. So no matter what your problem is this will be what he recommends. We called him on a weekend because he was the only person who could come out. I had an idea of what the problem was because the electrical box for the pump controller had to be reset frequently. And the reset button was starting to not work. Eventually I heard electrical noises in the box and actual pieces of the capacitor started to fall apart. This was isolated to the control box. Our well had just been replaced two years prior. If you have ever had your well replaced you know it's a frustrating experience and you feel blindsided because you are trusting these people to do the right thing. But after going through the experience once I had an idea about how the system works. Kawchack pulls out this hokey meter that he actually explains to me that it will tell you if you have a bad well or not. And he likes it because it's so simple that the client can see whether it says good or bad when he touches it to measure something. You could tell it was a sales tool of his and he was proud of it. Now I wasn't born yesterday and I know my way around some basic electronics and mechanical systems. He was not able to tell me what it was actually measuring he just wanted me to believe that it told you if you had a bad well or pump. He holds it on my electrical box and tells me "yup. You have a bad pump in a needs to be replaced'. Keep in mind that what you don't know is whenever they change your pump they also want to change all of your piping. Which is another chunk of money. As soon as I saw what he was doing and the that was his conclusion I told him thank you for his time paid him the amount for the service call and waited through the weekend until I could get to the original company that put my well in. I told them what the problem was and how I heard noises in the box and they acknowledged it probably should have been changed out the last time . They split the cost of the box with me because it was partly their fault and as soon as they put it in my well has worked great ever since. If I had gone with Kawchack I would be paying for an entirely new well and have no idea why. What also worries me is that while I'm away my wife is stuck with these problems and she would have no idea what to say. She just knows she needs water and he would be happy to sell her an entire new pump system. To me this is taking advantage of the customer in the worst way. Make your own decision but I say buyer beware.
