You will go through a metal detector and have your bags looked in upon arrival. The building is really well kept and clean. There's a lot offered here but I suggest you heavily research what's available to you before hand and don't rely entirely in them to present with everything you qualify for because how can they know?

Applied for Eviction Chap back in February 2024. As I update my review, it is now April 2024. Clark County why does it take so long to be assigned a caseworker? Why do you make applicants wait this long? Nevada received over $2Billion in Covid Relief funding. Where is the funding? Other states have provided abundant resources including Basic Income Pilot programs. Nevada, nothing! These funds may have been misappropriated by the state of Nevada. Nevada has claimed to have provided resources with these funds. Not true! Nevada should be investigated and audited for misappropriation of federal funding.

Why does Clark County CHAP typically WAIT TWO MONTHS to assign caseworkers for rental assistance? This has been going on since the PANDEMIC! Does Clark County CHAP have some hidden POLICY to make applicants wait 2 MONTHS? Because most applicants say it took 2 MONTHS before they were assigned a caseworker. If its EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE why has everyone had to WAIT at least 2 months before even being contacted? This is NOT how government funds should be used. Is it done intentionally, to allow enough time so the applicant forgets to check emails, or gets evicted and no longer needs services? On a chart from 0% to 100%, based on all applications ever received, what is the percentage of applicants that were actually helped compared to applicants whom you lost contact? I would bet that the percentage you actually helped is lower. Has anyone working for Clark County ever had to live from a car or sleep outside on a ground in the cold? Do you know how it FEELS to be without shelter? Imagine losing everything you worked so hard for. Picture it in your mind this being you or your mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, daughter or son. Imagine if you or someone you loved needed these resources desperately but had to wait 2 months. Nevada you need to do better at helping lower income families and people in need of emergency assistance. What you're doing is pathetic. One day soon it could be you needing help. Anything can happen. Your life could seem great today, then change dramatically in an instant! I can't believe you have the audacity to name a resource as "Eviction Prevention". Very misleading! Why call it that if you can't even assign a caseworker within 7 days? How are you helping to prevent an EVICTION? I'm so tired of the LIES, FRAUD, and ABUSE OF FUNDING.
