    After lots of consideration I am writing this review because things that nellis storage did was not ok. First my husband had storage unit for our small business for years. My husband passed away on October 4th. Within a couple of days of him passing I called the facility to make them aware that I would have to take it over and that I would have it cleaned out in December. My husband and I had moved to Missouri last May, so I was not able to fly to Las Vegas and clean it out right away. I the past year the payment for the storage unit came out of my account and it had been just switched to his account 3 months before he passed away. I sent in a death certificate for my husband to Rebecca. When it came time to pay the storage fee for November Rebecca refused to let me pay the unit. I had talked to Rebecca several times to try and figure out what I needed to do as I was not in Las Vegas. When it came to December again I tried to pay for the unit over the phone as I am still not in Las Vegas. She then told me that they put a lien on the unit and I was going to have to pay extra. But that I had to pay in person and I had to pay cash. I went to Las Vegas on December 15 and went to the storage unit to clean it out. When I got there they had cut the lock off the unit. They had put one of their locks on. When we started to clean out the unit we figured out lots of items was missing from the unit. Well over 30,000.00 worth of items. These are items I know was in the unit. There was lots of other items that was in the unit that I can not remember. We own a small resale business and we needed to leave items in the unit. Some of the items that was taken out of the unit was family Heirlooms that are not replaceable.

    I am writing this after I have tried to have the issue resolved. My husband had a storage unit with Nellis storage for several years. It was a mixture of personal and business items. My husband passed away October 4th In Kansas City Missouri. A few days after he passed away I let Nellis storage what happened so that I could start paying the unit until I could get out to Las Vegas December 15th to clean it out. Rebecca said ok. When I tried to pay for the unit on November 3rd she told me that I could not pay for the unit. I proceeded to ask her why she said she had no proof that he passed away or that we were married. I sent her his death certificate and our marriage degree. She proceeded to tell me anyone could have made that on a computer. I hung up on her as I felt that was the rudest thing that you could say to someone. I proceeded to call back to try and resolve the issue. They would not let me pay for the unit on several times trying to talk and get it resolved. I explained to her that I was in Missouri and that his mother was in Missouri also. I was not giving up and going to lose the items that were in the storage unit. I was a week out from coming to Vegas in December and I called again at that time she said you can pay cash for the unit and the lien fees that have been added to the unit and then I will allow you through the gate. So when I got to the unit they had cut our lock off and replaced it with their lock. When we were going through the unit his mother and I found out things had been taken out of the unit. Some of the items were family heirlooms and some of the items was related to our small resale business.
