Gen Korean BBQ House

My spouse and I had a late vacation lunch on 4/27/24. It was our first visit. The hostess was excellent! She explained the process and answered our many questions with patience, grace, and humor. She made us excited to try it. We really enjoyed the food, atmosphere, waitress, servers, and even the manager who stopped by. Large parties were moving in and out, but it was never noisy or rowdy. Everyone was attentive and kind, quickly bringing food selections, removing completed items, and changing the grill plates. The fried rice was the best we've ever had anywhere! Moist, hot, and perfectly cooked. The garlic shrimp was fresh and seasoned well, heads on, but messy and difficult to peel after cooking. The rib eye and filet mignon were tender and tasty. The Hawaiian chicken was delicious, moist, and seasoned so well! Also, try the cheese and corn (cook it first), a new dish that is very good! This was more than a meal it was a delightful dining experience. I only wish there was a Gen close to my home in NJ. We would be regulars.

Food was okay, I was disappointed in the overall quality. Ive had way better Korean BBQ and sushi. I came here with my family due to the overall good reviews. Im not too sure why its rated so high. Im guessing theres not much authentic Korean BBQ along the strip. The price is descent for the so so quality you get. The food was super slow when it came out, maybe not enough staffing. There was only one waiter serving so many tables all at once. Even the manager at the restaurant had to help out and serve the customers. I waited for a table for an hour since we didnt book ahead. But then when I was waiting for a table, there were so many empty tables there werent cleaned up so definitely theres a shortage of staffing.

I love everything about this place. The party bowls are definitely worth the price! Great value for the amount of food that you get :))

All-you-can-eat is delicious and satisfying for the price. There was takoyaki on the side menu, and when I ordered it, I was surprised to find that it was fried, but when I ate it, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the soup stock was.

I LOVED my experience dining here today. I had the greatest waiter he was very attentive and he had such a wonderful smile with his cute little gap!! The Manager was doing his duties TOP TIER even the bald bussing guy was so nice and amazing. Obviously the food was great but the service was GOD TIER!!! Also they had macaroon ice cream sandwiches which Ive never seen before they were delicious!
