Lamb of God Lutheran School is a wonderful school that offers a warm Christian atmosphere and a challenging curriculum. The elementary school has many specials/electives such as computers, art, PE, and music and fun and interactive weekly themes at the preschool.

There aren't enough things to say about Lamb of God and I'm confused why other parents haven't also written reviews so I'll start.Start by stating when my 2.5 year old started here fall of 2018 I was also skeptical because of the reviews lower on the page... We love every single teacher here. They loved our child like their own and from preschool through elementary mostly every single one of them knew her by name. The registrar Mary Grace was a kindred spirit to my little one and when we dropped her off in the morning The same smiling faces in the same room every day were the same ones we'd always see, same goes for after care teachers. She wasn't bounced around by high turnover staff, as a matter of fact we've been to about 4 preschools and I've never seen consistency in any of them like I have at LOG. Her belongings were always kept together, nothing was ever lost and not found. She's got a million food allergies and they kept her epipen in a binder every day I signed her in it was with them, and they never once had a food allergy scare. Mrs. Laswell is a saint and I knew it the day we went to open house and two little boys cried when their mothers told them they'd have a new teacher this year, I know my daughter will feel the same. For example, the last few weeks of the school year she'd taught them about plants... how to plant them and the stages of a plant, and they got to take their own seeds home and on the last day of school she re-planted pre grown carrots in her own garden into the soil with tiny sprouts they'd been staring at for weeks at school so they could pull real veggies from their dirt, clean and eat them, something they could be proud of... and when my little came home she said " mom, we grew carrots and even got to eat them" she didn't know the secret but she felt the pride... and I can tell about 100 other stories that sound JUST like that one. The director Mrs. Purswell treats parents like family, so warm and inviting. SO loving to these kids. The curriculum is amazing, every week she'd come home singing a new song, or talking to me about a new color or what sound the letter of the week made, or what activity they participated in or what career person came in to complement their lesson plan...  If you're on the fence of where to send your child. If you need a safe environment, a religious based school that uses love and logic and extends grace and compassion to your sweet child while you're at work... don't look into any other school than Lamb of God. We found a diamond in the rough and I promise you, you're getting more than what you pay for.

Lamb of God Lutheran School (Preschool through 5th Grade) is a fantastic private school in the Centennial area of Las Vegas, with a caring, qualified and quality teaching staff offering a rigorous curriculum to their students. Students receive an excellent education in a Christian environment.  The campuses (Preschool and Elementary) have such a warm feeling of family!  Students are challenged and allowed to excel in their studies and academic growth. Many specials and extracurricular activities are available to students, such as technology, art, music, drama, interscholastic and intramural athletics, and more.  Students who graduate from Lamb of God are well-prepared for middle school, whether going onto public or private schools. Tuition is affordable. I highly recommend Lamb of God Lutheran School if you are looking for a great school, with great academics, leadership and instructors in an environment that teaches positive morals and values!
