I have 2 children that have attended Hand in Hand for almost 3 years now, so our experience is from the baby to toddler rooms. Four key elements I'll address are safety, price, education, and care. Safety elements that I like here are the locked rooms, cameras, fingerprint sign in/outs, good employee retention, and cleanliness. Employee retention means alot to me and the same women that took care of my firstborn are now taking care of my second. It is nice when they reminisce with you and know your family. It also says something about their management when they can retain employees even throughout the pandemic. The facility is as clean as can be with toddlers running around. I always see teachers wiping and cleaning. Not to say we don't get our fair share of colds, but when my kids are sick the staff call me immediately and are quick to inform me when other children have illnesses. Viruses are part of having kids. They either get the viruses now or when they start school. Education wise my kids have excelled. People always seem to pity me when I tell them I put my kids in daycare, but I wouldn't change to a nanny even if I had the choice. I attribute their advancements to the exposure they have to their teachers and other kids. I can't teach them everything, especially when it comes to socialization. It takes a village to raise kids and they are my village. The price is fair. They give discounts to teachers, healthcare workers, and siblings. I wish the discounts stacked but it wouldn't be financially feasible for them. I know what others pay for Goddard and some Montessori schools and we pay substantially less. Those schools are very nice and more technologically savvy but you pay out the nose for them. I like paying less and foregoing daily emails about my kids bowel and bladder patterns. I get old fashioned hand written papers about them. I do wish parents had remote camera access so I could see my babies all day, but that opens up a lot of issues (ex. Creepers, helicopter parents, online security, price). Lastly but certainly not least, the care. My kids are clean, diapers are dry, noses are wiped, hands are washed. The teachers and staff know my kids. They know their personalities and temperaments. They have seen them grow and miss them when I keep them out for illness/vacation. They are one of my resources when I have questions about behaviors, development, etc... I recommend them to everyone. I've had two friends start their kids on my recommendation and both mothers have thanked me for it. They are also common sense in a real world way, and don't feel corporate. They have shown my kids grace as they develop and learn. Hand in Hand has been wonderful for our family.

I am so pleased with the staff here. They are so nice and they work with you in every way. My daughter comes home with all kinds of creative things from her class and she is learning so much. Also so excited to go when she wakes up every morning!

I enjoyed the experience my oldest child has with Hand in Hand and felt that she was well prepared for kindergarten. Due to the experience my daughter had I decided to bring my son and so far I feel that he is well taken care of. I love the staff here and appreciate them a lot.
