Growing up I wanted to go to away to a specific HBCU but my heart problems were so severe that it was recommended that I remain home and go to a local business college. I did it, but somehow I just felt stuck. Pushing forward, I got into a field that I could do but didn't love and for many years after that, I couldn't figure out what I loved. My husband, a teacher, knew that's what he wanted to do and is extraordinary. My friend, a RN, knew that's what she wanted to do and is extraordinary. I do many things well but couldn't find my extraordinary..... until brain spotting!
Never did I ever realize how various traumatic events in life affect your outcome. A friend suggested brain spotting and I gave it a try. What a difference is made! I'm currently, after all those years, in school to be a plant-based Chef which I absolutely love. Never knew I loved cooking so much! Every quarter, I'm on the President's List. I feel peace, love, clarity, accomplishment, connection, enjoyment, and joy. I'm all in.
I can't tell you when the breakthrough happened. I didn't realize anything was happening but it did and so happy and thankful for it. Shout out to Ms Michele@MR Therapy! I felt like I was talking to a friend. It was relaxing and yet, as I look back and as Ithink about it, I feel like there was healing in other areas. Can't wait go through the process again.
