Stopped by Home Depot on Serene & Eastern 4/1/24. I got dizzy as the store was too hot. In the process trying to get air to prevent passing out, I dropped my phone. I immediately went back in store after catching my breath and was shuffled to 3 different counters, none of whom would dial my phone. An elderly associate notice me having an anxiety attack and dialed my number from her personal cell. She wasnt able to do anything else. Customer service told me to check back later in the day?!?. So I guess I was to just stay in the store all day! No pay phones or computers to use to notify my carrier mind you. I couldnt even get home as my Lyft info was in my phone. This is totally unacceptable and needs to be immediately rectified. I may have found it or turned the tracking siren on had I been able to access another phone or computer. Totally Unacceptable!

Customer Beware...online order experiences with Home Depot can cost more money, and lots of valuable time. Sure, you will get reimbursed, haha but it's a lesson well learned to never purchase online from HD again. Quality control for products is terrible. Issue 1) How can the internal locking pins and steel plate...not be in a sealed package for a Venetian Bronze Double Cylinder Deadbolt featuring Smart Key Technology? Issue 2) The HD Professional Services Program sent individuals who did not know the scope of work, and/of lacked tools and experience. Finally, I get a qualified person, who agrees to the job, but I never hear back from him. Issue 3) I resort to a Locksmith. He opens the Home Depot package prepared to install the lock and finds the special lock lacks unique internal parts. Issue 4) Now..wow...I gotta return the lock to Home Depot. They had no problem delivering it. Haha I m done...after decades of using HD. I left for a year on e before because similar HD poor business processes...etc.
