At the end of October 23 I lost my best friend of 50+ years, devastating. Sunrise Cremation was recommended, so we gave them a try. In short, we had a wonderful experience and I thank Funeral Director Traci and the rest of her team, not only for their professionalism, but also for their kindness and consideration in a very dark hour... Miss you Buddy!

I went to Desert Memorial because that's where my friend wanted her services held. She found out she was dying and so we started the process but she passed before I could get power of attorney. Jesse worked with me. Together we put together a plan, he quoted me a price, and coordinated with my friends next of kin who lives out of state. The last time I heard from Jesse was to take the payment. He told me my friend would be ready within the next week. About two weeks later, after not hearing anything, I called Desert Memorial and asked about my friend's remains. The guy who answered said he had no record of that person in his system. Cue panic mode. They guy told me he would have Jesse call me asap. No call from Jesse. Called for the next few days repeating the situation. Kept being told he'd call me right back and not hearing from him. Finally I called and a lady answered. Exasperated, I let her know the whole situation and that Jesse wasn't calling me back. I wish I knew her name because she's the only reason I'm giving 2 stars. She kept me on the phone while she located my friends remains. Then she couldn't find the file but again, took the time to look with me on the phone until she found it. We went over the process. The only thing Jesse did right was make sure I was listed as the pick up person. No death certificates were ordered, no services were ordered. Mind you, my friend's next of kin is 85 years old and barely able to make decisions for herself, let alone handle the death of a loved one from across the country. It was up to Jesse to make sure what we spoke about was included on the paperwork that he sent to next of kin to sign and he failed. Now I have to figure out how to get death certificates and services elsewhere. Desert Memorial was so disorganized and disrespectful and I would not recommend this place out of all the other options we have here. I've had better services creating my pets.

I just wanted to share how professional, respectful and helpful all staff were to us and our family.

Traci, the manager at Desert Memorial went above and beyond amidst her busy schedule, when another person promised me and my family things they could not deliver. Traci and Desert Memorial took such good care of me. My confidence in referring my family and friends to Desert Memorial has been restored. I highly recommend taking care of your memorial needs here. I can't say enough great things about the way I was treated by Dominique. She consoled me in my terrible grief after losing my beloved husband of 45 years. She handled everything with diplomacy and sympathy as if I were her own grandmother. I felt love from a woman I'd never met and would probably never see again. We had NO MONEY. She found a group who would take my husband's body's tissues for study so they could cremate the rest at no charge to me! She found an urn that I thought was perfect and even managed to get a beautiful necklace with his remains all at NO charge to me. This is love of her fellow human beings at it's finest. Did it take a little while to get it all arranged? Yes. Nearly 3 weeks and I was about to go nuts but Dominique stayed with me and kept me reassured and she finally came through. It was easily well worth the wait. I would recommend them to anybody but the rich and famous because they're snotty people who generally treat others poorly and don't deserve this diamond service and I've got a sneaking suspicion Dominique would give them just exactly what they deserve, too. I love you Dominique. God bless you!
