Memaw's Gumbo

Excellent mom and pop shop! Dont be fooled by the exterior, the gumbo and shrimp was delicious and fresh, and the owners were incredibly kind. Worth the visit!

Great po boy sandwiches. Sauce is great! So are the . However, we went in for gumbo. Took cashier more than 5 minutes to come out. Gumbo was awful..tasted like liquid smoke and no filet powder. Red beans & rice were bland. Super casual, nothing fancy. Easy location.

This was the 2nd time I've visited this restaurant and everything about the visit was incredible. The owners are amazing! Very welcoming. We had the mozzarella sticks and sauted mushrooms to start. Then the Willie Earl chicken wings. For the mains, we tried the Shrimp Gumbo and Crunchy Shrimp and Grits. For dessert, we tried the Peanut butter and chocolate Hurricane and the Watermelon Hurricane. Everything, I mean every single item, was spot on and very flavorful! You have to try this place if you love goos southern cooking. I will be back every time I'm in town.

Nasty the red beans and rice is chili fish got no flavor it must be Korean gumbo you know its bad when the macaroni NASTY it was gritty spent 100 dollars and didnt eat it
