Guardian Security Screens

The absolute best company in home security. Ive used them for years and keep adding on. Always professional, prompt and courteous. My neighbors have used them too based on how many great features have been added to my home.

My parents got 2 window security screens done. Each step in the process ran smoothly. Joel was the guy who came to take measurements and give an estimate. He was very nice, thorough, helpful, ready to answer any question during the free estimate appointment and after. My parents had a lot of confidence in the work that was going to be done and possibly even more in the future. The two guys who came to install the screens were polite and the installation was quick. There was a little issue at this point though. The guys who installed their window screens didn't completely seal the bottom of the first screen they did, there were a few obvious gaps at the bottom. Neither did they seal the bottom of the second screen completely and even missed sealing parts on the top and right side. It would keep out burglars but bugs would have definitely gotten in when my parents would want to open the windows to let in fresh air. They also found at least 5 screws laying around under the windows on the ground after all was done. My parents could've gone outside to check their work before the guys left, but they shouldn't really have to. They were told that the workers would clean up after themselves "like they were never there" , but these guys left many of their screws laying around. My parents decided to seal around the rest of the window screens themselves. These things made my parents feel a bit more reluctant especially in getting another certain window screen done that will need for the wall around the window to be shaved down so the screen can fit. They were already unsure about this, but a bit more now. The job should be done right and completely the first time. My parents shouldn't have to double check their work to make sure something as simple as sealing was done correctly or picking up screws. Also there's 14 people who wrote a 5 star review here and it's the only review on their profile. Really? It's probably nothing. I just feel better when a variety of people review a business with more than just ONE review on their account, so I know it's genuine and not biased. Anyway, my parents may or may not use this company again in the future. But they do not regret it, they are happy with the screens now (after they finished sealing them). From the time they agreed and said yes to this company, it took about 2 weeks till the screens were made and they got an appointment for the same day that they got a call from Ashley saying that the screens are made and ready to be installed. So that was nice. This seems like a very good company but maybe it was just the workers they happened to get that day. I will probably help my parents look into other companies for estimates on further windows they want done in the future before returning and committing to this one again if it happens to be the better choice still. Again, not saying this company is bad. They seem very good, professional and friendly. Their screens are great quality and look nice. But my parents were disappointed in the things I described above and I just wanted to share their experience.

I wish they had mentioned there is a $1500 minimum job requirement on the phone before coming out to give me an estimate on window film which only came to $500. I then asked to have an arched security screen door for my front door to get to their minimum price, but then was told they are only taking standard doors currently and check back in 10 months. I feel as if their website is a bit misleading on their custom fabrication capabilities at this time and that people should know up front there is a pretty hefty minimum job requirement, save everyone some time. That being said their rep was really nice.

Great customer service all around. Tristan is very professional and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and left us with a beautifully functioning system.

Installation was quick and smooth, the technicians left the windows looking clean and sharp. Solid work by Guardian! 10/10 would recommend.
