Escalante at the Lakes

The customer service is incredible. Jeremy was instrumental in helping my loved one adjust to new surroundings. He helped me make an informed decision about finding excellent placement for my family member in need and he did it quickly and efficiently. I am so grateful that this process was made easier by Jeremy and the staff at Escalante. I highly recommend this facility.

My Mom spent her last 6 months in the Memory Care Unit here and the place is great! She had the best of care, good food, and a nice private room of her own. Everyone was extremely kind and caring. I highly recommend Escalante!

My aunt is in their facility. She was in several other ones before I found this one. They are so kind all of them. I know I can be at peace knowing she is there.

Darci Stark is the "Five Star Sales & Marketing Director for Escalante at the Lakes" - a "... Premium Senior Living Community..." This prospect was ushered to the sitting room off the lobby, where Ms. Stark assessed the prospective client for community fitness. She was attentive to my questions and listened openly to any response offered. One can have a vibrant life within this community. Integral Senior Living has defined seven qualities from which they build a well-rounded and meaningful living experience. Each touches the resident in various degrees developing wellness in intellectual, Spiritual, and physical activity. Offering various resident services for their "...interests, preferences, routines, and abilities." While on campus, I witnessed a group physical therapy session in the exercise room. Escalante employees aim to provide emotional stability for residents who dedicate their time to personal activities. They believe "home is meant to be a place of comfort and enjoyment." The structure is nestled below road level, approximately one-thousand feet off Lake Sahara Drive. Road noise is not heard. The second and third-floor levels are connected with sloping ramps providing an uninterrupted inside walking experience. Two second-floor-covered patios provide an outside experience at the height of more excellent airflow above street level. My tour ended. This individual is challenged to become a part of this community. Thank you for the inspiration in viewing excellence in Senior Care.

My Aunt keeps getting sick closer and closer together here, All PREVENTABLE issues like recurring UTI's, dehydration, that go unchecked until shes found on the floor passed out or falling out of bed. After being able to recover in a rehab facility from ER visits, ALL of the Drs have said that should not be occurring, and her winding back in the hospital is from questionable care. Her insurance will not cover another ambulance ride, she's maxed out for the year and it is MAY, on the merry-go-round of neglect, poor dietary options with no vegetables just carbs and meat, lax monitoring her when she returns after being stabilized elsewhere approved to return, and she is doing great more alert and aware. Then sent back to this facility which seems to be very pleasantly and comfortably providing her rapid decline from PREVENTABLE medical issues! Memory Care but they cannot remind her to drink fluids?? Last year Their shuttle driver "Could Not Find" the Drs office and took her back here. That cancelation lead to an Additional 5 months delay for a 27 second procedure to prevent further infections. ANY Driver in 2023 who can not Find a location?? How are they a driver or have a job like this? They do not know how to ask for directions if they cannot access GPS?!? Should we be glad they didn't wreck as it's just as likely they couldn't identify what was a road or a building too? This facility is happy to keep her room while rent is still paid when she's spending extended periods back in the ER Over and over again, while the Hospitals have said preventable measures have not been consistent. If they only want self reliant memory care residents here, which seems like a contradiction, maybe they Should be more discerning assessing those who are not consistently able to stay self reliant, or maybe they should not destabilize their self reliance with inconsistent needed daily care routines per her needs? In my opinion The incompetence is OUTSTANDING! This all after the most recent ownership change.
