I had some concern about my transcript for my mortgage application, She explained to me very detail about my concern PLUS after she checked my transcripts, she told me I could save so much money for a tax return and explained how, I had hired 2 accountants in the past and they never mentioned about this also didn't make any different then I filed my self, that's why I have been doing my tax my self, but I'm so glad I spoke to her! I'm sorry to write this type of review, but I simply cannot recommend Valley Tax Services to anyone. My wife and I have worked with Gerald Killeen for our '19, '20 and '21 tax returns. Mr. Killeen filed pretty basic joint tax returns for us. In Oct 2022, we received an invoice from the IRS in the amount of $6,800.00 in connection to our 2020 return. We immediately emailed the Valley Business & Tax Services office and were told we would receive a response from Mr. Killeen within a few days. We never heard anything. Over the course of 2 months, we made multiple attempts to contact the office and were lied to repeatedly, being told we would get an answer within a matter of days. Getting frustrated, when my wife called their office and stated were at least owed an acknowledgment to our inquiry, their office manager rudely told her we dont owe you anything. At this point, it seemed the only option would be to schedule an actual visit with Mr. Killeen to put something official on the calendar. The day before the appointment, we finally heard from Mr. Killeen to notify us that he would be unavailable to meet and that he did review the IRS invoice and acknowledged that the IRS was correct. My wife's W2 information was entered incorrectly on the return. Though he was careful not to accept blame or apologize. I responded by asking their office to refund our 2020 filing fee for the negligence and to help offset the cost of interest that was accrued while we waited for a response from their office. They never responded. Bottomline, I understand mistakes happen, but it was the complete disregard for our concerns that was so problematic here. We experienced incredibly poor communication and a major lack of professionalism.
