image I worked at THIS hospital when it was Lake Tahoe Medical Center. It is a shame we were bought out by Tahoe Forest. All the employees including doctors and nurses we put money together to save it but politics stepped in and the court took Tahoe Forest instead. We came up with the Money they wanted but we lost. It was a very sad day. We provided the BEST care.

image They will charge you twice. A third party and the hospital.
Im a local
They charged me over $3000, for a strep throat test and the third party is trying to charge me an additional $1200
I guess they werent in the mood to use my insurance. A singular Cotten swab on my throat and told me to get antibiotics and they want to charge me over $3,000. Dont go here its not worth it. Drive to Reno or Sacramento. This is a huge scam dont trust the scammers. Everything they do is a scam. If they offer you water itll be hundred dollars for some water or a napkin a hundred dollars. Dont go here. Staff is friendly but scammers usually are friendly. Will have to dispute all charges as again all i got was a strep throat test and they want to charge me thousands of dollars. Im still waiting for my itemized receipt and this all happened months ago. The hospital told me to call their billing company and the billing company told me no i need to talk to the hospital, clearly they dont know whats going on or care.
