My second check up I waited for 2 hours & the third I waited 1.5 hours. Way too long just for a check up. Dr. Miao Im sure is amazing what he does, but he came off as like I was wasting his time. For how long I was waiting in the room I would think he would just quickly look over my chart. Every time he saw me he asked me what I did to my shoulder & where it hurts. Nothing was wrong structurally so he recommended a cortisone shot. Its a bit intimidating in any medical setting so you forgot the right questions to ask at the time. He just gave me the shot without letting me know what to do for the after care, the dos & donts post shot. Yes its my responsibility to ask these types of questions, but shouldnt we trust doctors to give you all the information & feel good walking out? He just gave me the shot & just told me to have a good day & walked out. You already feel defeated going to the doctors bc something hurts on your body, its just disappointing to have to take so much time out of your day to get that type on care & walk out of there frustrated bc the doctor just treated you like another transaction.

From the time I checked in until I saw the dr the nurse, the nurse practitioner were all very knowledgeable. The Dr explained the issues with my knee very thoroughly, defined a conservative treatment until further test can be complete. They drained some fluid from my knee and this has provided great relief. The front office staff was very friendly, professional and fast. I had the referral for the MRI before I left the office.
