        Ive been struggling with my eyeglasses for over a years the prescription wasnt right. Using a very outdated prescription. I dont have a particularly strong vision problem and not dependent on continuous eyewear use. However, Im used to wearing a somewhat costly lens that most places dont carry keeping their costs down. Costco and Sams both advised I would not be happy with their bifocal lenses. After searching for an optometrist I decided to try Golden Eye Optometry. Im a nurse and wanted a comprehensive exam. Dezi was very professional during my screening exam. I was then examined by Dr. Christopher Campana. He listened to my concerns and frustrations with my current prescription. Thorough exam completed indicated I had vision needs closer to the 2018 lens vs 2022 lenses that were remade twice. Couldnt wait to get them. Angela assisted me with frame choices. Lovely gal patience and very pleasant. About a week later the glasses were here. Hallelujah! Perfect. Near and distance were right. I wanted to get a second backup pair. Not covered by my insurance but the discount was good. Now Im wearing them too. I have read the reviews from a healthcare provider standpoint the negative reviews, I just dont agree. But after more years in healthcare than I want to admit, most people tend to post negative reviews versus positive ones. You cant please everyone. Im very pleased with my experience at Golden Eye Optometry. I wouldnt base my choices on the negative reviews to sway you in giving them a try.

        Dezi is a terrible customer care service representative. The hours are terrible at this place, always trying to sell you a not needed expensive examination and or eye glasses when I had a new eye prescription . You lost my business, but never again. This is not the way to treat veterans. I went and got new lenses elsewhere. STAY AWAY...

      Dezi is an important member of our staff. She was polite to you on the phone even when you and your wife raised your voices at her. We understand that you do not like our office policy regarding outside prescriptions. Our office policy is that we do not fill outside prescriptions because we cannot troubleshoot certain issues right away. When you called at 12:53PM, it was getting close to our lunch period at 1PM. Dezi continued the conversation during her lunch hour to speak with you and your wife further on the phone. As a small business, we do not have have the staffing to open extended hours. Dezi did not try to sell you a new expensive eye examination and or eyeglasses on the phone. You told her that you had an eye exam at the VA and that you went to LensCrafters and VisionWorks to fill the prescription in the Gucci frame that you purchased here in 02/2021. For whatever reason, Lenscrafters and VisionWorks declined to put new lenses in the old Gucci frame. Is it possible that the bevel of the frame could be damaged preventing proper lens mounting? There was not enough information for her to gather and she was confused about your analogy about furniture and how it relates to glasses. We could inspect the frame bevel to see why other opticals refused to help you, but the opportunity never came because you were too frustrated about our office policy.
