Purchased a "Platinum" Fitting Experience for my son, and it was rushed with little information. And not only did I pay $150 for the fiting, but I purchased Apex Irons for my son as well. Never again.
Edited to add: 8 years later and still haven't even walked into Golf Galaxy again, and never will.

Manager was super disrespectful and a jerk to me. I brought In my personal putter to compare with a putter I was interested in buying and he said I would need to pay $15 to use their "practice facilities". As if there's not 2 golf courses within 10 minutes that I could've practiced at. Maybe he didn't understand that I was interested in buying or maybe he was slow who knows. He also tried to have an employee watch me at the putting green like I was a criminal or something. I'll be contacting corporate about this event

AVIS .. is definitely going to change how golf is being played in Nevada. She really emphasizes the fundamentals and breaks down the swing mechanics. Las Vegas/ Henderson get ready to see your scores drop!
I would highly recommend Avis if youre a beginner, intermediate or an advanced player.

Brought some iron shafts here to get installed. Very non standard build length since Im quite tall and having back problems. Intake process is great but somehow the note to leave shafts uncut didnt make it to the build team. They got cut to standard length which is like playing junior clubs for me. I called them and they immediately offered to make it right. Thank you Chris, Lee and Brian for the great build.

Avis Avis Avis!! What a gem!! I've tried a lot of coaches for my young son but she is THE ONE. Her lessons are thorough, full of substance, with a positive message to keep his mind sharp. I recommend her to anyone who truly wants to learn the game. I'm glad she was recommended to us because she does not disappoint. Thank you Avis!
