This is Henderson's best kept secret for new moms! This facility offers excellent classes for new moms and even offers a mommy mixer run by a lactation consultant on Fridays to meet other moms and compare sleep deprived stories. Another great class is Infant Development taught by the fabulous Miss Tawanda, who has a great singing voice to entertain the babies. And best of all, most of the classes are free!  They also have a baby scale to see how much weight your little one has gained which is crucial in the beginning. You can also rent a hospital grade breast pump at a very reasonable price. Kim at the front desk is super nice and friendly as well. Can't say enough great things about this facility, so glad I found it!

Rhonda is amazing! she was extremely helpful and personal through and through. I rented a breast pump from this location until I received one from wic. she really worked with me in regards to my rental period. I'm not sure who helped me when I went to return it but she could definitely take a page from Rhonda's book on how to talk to people - especially a new sleep deprived mom! nonetheless Rhonda's customer service gives his facility 5 stars all the way!!!

I am writing this review because I cannot stop thinking about how horrible a staff worker's costumer service was today at the Barbara Greenspun WIC office was. Her name was Evelyn Castell and she was awful. First off, I arrive and she looked at me like I was last night's trash. Then she proceeded to ask for my papers that were required for my WIC visit. With the rudest face she asks where my income is stated when it is obviously on our 2016 tax return document. I gave her proof of address that was listed on a piece of mail and she looked so upset saying she could not take it, but eventually did. I filled out papers and then got called back. To my surprise it was Evelyn who called me back. She proceeded to tell me that since my husband got a few extra hours on his last pay check that our income exceeded the family of 4 amount by 17 dollars. All of his other paychecks are much lower.  I would have to reapply. I will reapply in 30 days, but definitely will not be returning to this location. My point of this is that she should not be working in customer service and should be behind a desk not having to deal with anyone. I cannot believe she got hired to work with people? Please hire a nicer staff. Confusing.

In theory, this is a wonderful community resource for women with all sorts of offerings that support and educate pregnant women, moms Etc. But I've only ever had issues with scheduling and classes here so I have yet to see the benefit. Most recently I checked the website and saw that there was a prenatal yoga class on Mondays at 11:30 a.m. When I showed up for this class they said it had been cancelled last week. I had called a couple of weeks ago and they said that I would be able to just drop in for any class without prior appointment or notification. I I planned my morning around this class, so the fact that it's cancelled without note on the website, which I checked this morning, is frustrating.I also come to this location for another Fitness class through a different organization. For the last class, which is held on Saturday mornings, we arrived to find the door locked and no way to get in. Luckily it was not a very hot morning and we were able to take our class to the nearby park. At the session before that , I arrived five minutes early for the class and was told by an employee of the center that that class wasn't meeting that morning. I had confirmation from the organization that provides the class that it was in fact scheduled for that day. Sure enough, a few minutes later the class instructor and a few other participants arrived. It seems there is a lot of confusion about scheduling at this location. I am sure this is a great community resource but I have been plagued with scheduling issues and miscommunication.
