Las Vegas Wisdom Teeth

I had a wisdom tooth start hurting on a Sunday and wanted it out asap but was convinced it was going to be at least a week. I went into this office that Monday, they immediately took care of everything needed to get an appointment scheduled and they got me in the very next day to have it removed. On surgery day the staff was awesome and immediately got me into the room and prep'd, they didn't even need to put me under, just some numbing and laughing gas. From when Dr. Wirig started to when the tooth was out was sub 5 minutes. It was so well done that I've had 0 pain during my recovery and very minimal swelling to where you can't even really notice. Dr Wirig and staff have completely shifted my expectations for getting a wisdom tooth removed and the healing process to follow. I can't recommend them enough.

I wish I could say I had a stellar experience as everyone one else on here but ours was not so impressive. I brought my son in to have work done and despite that I gave the disclaimer that he had NEVER had dental work done before and that he (my son) was trying to figure it all out moment by moment, it was only me and the assistant doing our best to talk him through it. Spencer Wirwig only came out once but it was to talk business and not to talk to my son as a human being or a caring dentist. He had no time to invest in doing that. Again, me, the assistant and the office manager who stopped by once to somewhat forcefully talk to my son got him over the hump of the first half of the visit to the start of the procedure I brought him in for. Spencer came in, geared up but he did NOT talk to him before hand about what he (my son) was about to feel, experience, hear, smell, what to do if he felt any pain etc.. no nothing. He just began the work. Oh wait, Im sorry.. he did ask him before he started if he was ready but that was it. About a min or less into the procedure my son felt something that he did not know to expect since there was no pre conversation and he (my son) popped up in the chair. He shouldnt have done that but the attitude Spencer displayed there after was unprofessional. He takes no portion of accountability for not properly discussing with my son what was about to happen since after all I did say it was his first time! My son went in blind and had a reaction and Spencer got up declaring how he wasnt going to work on my son unless he was sedated and he stormed out the room into his office and closed the door without a word to me no nothing. No Spencer.. it wasnt your finest moment. I dont want to bring my son back there ever again since my son was the son of all sons to apparently be too hard of a case for Spencer despite his years of dentistry and experience. Spencer Wirwig.. It was my sons first time but Im sure my son isnt the first kid under your care to be a nervous first timer. Youve probably been practicing longer than my sons been alive and yet in all the schooling youve had you couldnt apply the professionalism that day to stay in the room yourself and talk my son through what had just happened and thoroughly explain why what happened shouldnt have happened. No, you left the assistant there to do that and didnt even think to address me. To this day I still havent received an apology or acknowledgement of some sort by Spencer. I understand you were upset and rightfully so. My son could have gotten hurt by what he did and yet I had to figure it out, put it all together and explain it to him using my imagination to convey how bad it could have been. I would have appreciated you doing that in the mist of that moment since you know in greater detail or atleast your input along with the mine would have been a great help. But instead you got in your feelings in that moment and stormed off as if you were having a temper tantrum and in my eyes that behavior from you the professional was unacceptable. Glad everyone else had such amazing experiences at this dentist office with Spencer Wirwig. I cant say the same. Im sure or hopeful atleast that all the other dentist and or orthodontists that work there are great. The staff is nice, Ill give credit where credit is due so this is why I gave two stars atleast. I started to give one.

Went to get my wisdom teeth pulled out and everyone was really nice and friendly. It was a quick procedure, in and out quickly. Dr. Spencer Wirig did a great job, would highly recommend!

Loved this office! I was so nervous about pulling my wisdom teeth and the staff and doctor made my experience so much easier! They were very professional and kind. I would definitely refer my family and friends! Thank you Dr. Spencer and staff :)
