MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill & Pub

My family and I have been here a few times! Service is a hit or miss. I've had some really great servers and some really bad servers. But the food is really good! Definitely worth their prices! I've had their pizzas, the burgers, and their nachos. All of them are fantastic! I especially love their pizzas. The kids meals are also a hit or miss. The kids pizzas are huge! How are their quesadillas are too small and size compared to the other kids meals. We like their food enough to recommend them to friends and family! Kid-friendliness: Their pizzas and mac and cheese are huge quantities. Whoever the kids quesadilla is very very small. I feel like it was the wrong portion size. If you compare it to the amount of calories it should have been, I feel like they didn't give us as much as we should have had. The quesadilla is not worth the money. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp and an elevator to get up to the restaurant.

We come here regularly, but the service is awful. Ignored and sitting for atleast 10-15 min before someone finally takes your order. This is an ongoing thing, not sure why. Tonight our wait is 25 min and counting

Been here a few times I noticed the kitchen doesnt give the same oomph to the food compare to the one at CNA. (Pizza, pasta & fish & chips)

We visit Lifeguard often and find ourselves at MacKenzie River out of convenience. Food is decent but we always can expect being there for quite a while as the service is extremely slow. Okay for when we are there to watch a game, but when we want to get dinner and get out of there it can be a bit frustrating. Last time we were there, it took us about 20-25 minutes just to get our bill after asking the server for it. The slow service is very typical, so do not go here if you are in a hurry. Atmosphere is fun though. Kid-friendliness: Kid menus are fun and kids are given 4 crayons.
