Excellent service and food

I arrived at 50 minutes to close which I know can be risky but I was invited in without hesitation. Everyone I encountered was very friendly and extremely professional, yet also personable. Isaac, the bartender was very good and keeping track of me and the other guests. He also made a very sound recommendation for my dinner I ended up with Elk Rib Chop. The consistency of the meat was slightly chewy, but offered good flavor. My salad was great and the accompanying potatoes and vegetables were excellent. Mixed drinks were on par. The bread and butter were equally satisfying. Overall, dining here was a great experience. I'm also happy to report that I accidentally left my cc with the check. The assisting waiter ran out after me and caught me in the parking lot. Thank you very much for taking me down! - losing that cc would have caused me a lot of grief on the rest of my trip. I'll be sure to stop in again on my next trip through town. Excellent job to everyone there.

After a very long drive from Klamath Falls, we were very hungry and ready to have an early dinner. Glen Eagles was 2 minutes from our hotel and I liked what I saw on their online menu. They also have a black board with daily specials by the door. Fortunately, they have a table for us. The server was very courteous and helpful in identifying something without garlic for me. We chose crab cakes and Chicken Picatta. Chicken is usually the last thing on the menu that that I would choose, but since we've been having fish a lot, I thought I would balance my diet with something else that contains B12. I enjoyed the chicken, and in particular, the baked potato which is something I haven't had for years. And of course, steamed broccoli is always my favourite vegetable. We had key lime pie for dessert. The ambiance in the room we were at was good except we found the sparkly table weird and unrestful. I believe we've picked the best restaurant in Carson City.

I liked this place, but didnt love it. Maybe I need to try one of their steaks. I sat at the bar on this quiet evening. The bartender was super helpful. The Caesar salad was good. The muscles were okay. The rosemary pasta was pretty good, but nothing I would come back for. I love the mellow atmosphere inside. I will go back to try something else.

Their special menu is large, and not priced. And only listed on the 'walkin board'. So; the Server must reiterate because of this. And then reiterate again after time to read the menu is given. It's So dark in there I needed flash to read the menu. Even the manager tripped up the stairs. Ordered tea, got hot water and a tea bag. Not impressed with that. And no refills. Lady next to us had her phone on full blast constantly ringing. Sever nor manager did anything to keep the atmosphere, despite noting it. The food is great, the deserts are hand made and great, especially the cheesecake. Portion size is also good. Sometimes they are understaffed so we didn't get hot bread initially. And they didn't put any bread ToGo as promised. 2 specials, 1 wine, 1 tea, and 1 cheesecake, + tax.tip = approx $140.
