I stayed several times this year, this is the best hotel in Carson city. The front desk man raised and born in Lake Tahoe is very nice and helped me find my pants , the lady at the front desk is also very nice . I really like this hotel. Rooms: Quiet and clean Safety: Good

I would love to give this place a better review but the lack of customer service or a present employee really ruined my stay. Had a multiple day reservation and had to check out a day early. No one was available at the front desk to check out and I have been calling for the past 2 days to an unattended phone number listed on their site and google trying to check out. Had to call the IHG customer service just to officially check out and the hotel still ended up billing me for the extra night. Wish the IHG app was like the bonvoy app for marriott where you can check out on your phone and not have to worry about getting billed for additional nights

My recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express Carson City was largely positive, thanks to the comfortable bed and decent amenities, which were especially appreciated after long days on the ski slopes. However, the hotel's EV charging policy was a notable downside. Unlike the nearby Hampton Inn, which offers free unlimited EV charging for guests, the Holiday Inn Express charges $0.25/kWh in the first four hours , after which a fee of $5 per hour is applied. This is really rediculous. This policy was inconvenient and disrupted my travel plans, as I had specifically chosen this hotel for its EV charging facilities. To better meet the needs of travelers with electric vehicles, I hope the hotel will reconsider its approach and offer more competitive, guest-friendly EV charging options.
