I don't know why people say that customer service here is bad. I've never had a complaint. The late night workers are in fact quite nice! They're generally accommodating. They even carry Digiorno pizzas (and their own brand also), which makes it a good place to get a pizza if that's what you're craving late night. But not all is as good as it sounds. That having said, I'll now get to why this is a three star review. 1. The place is overrun with little black sugar ants many nights. You might not see them at all, unless you look carefully around the soda areas. 2. While being inexpensive, their pizza VS frozen Digiornos, I've had mixed luck, so usually pay extra for the Digiornos a. I don't know if it's my digestion system at fault here, but 7-Eleven Pizzas have a certain explosive effect on mine. XD b. The toppings aren't particularly generous. c. The cheese has a gourmet flavor, which may or may not be appealing, depending on what you're looking for, but I doubt that it's 100% mozzarella that they put on these. d. The sauce isn't very generous either. There's more cheese than sauce on these. Digiorno adds plenty of sauce, so they appeal more to my tastes. e. The crust may be too soft for some, although it's quite edible. 3. The location is awkward, or rather the road infrastructure around isn't doing these gas stations any favors. There's a Maverik across the street that suffers from similar issues. (It's like they don't want you to ever go Eastward without a fight!) a. The lot can be accessed whether you're heading East or West up Hwy 50, but there's massive issues with exiting the lot. If you're leaving Westward, you're covered. If you want to go Eastward, you have to turn right with very little space onto the aforementioned street that separates the two gas stations, almost horizontally across to the left turn lane. There's a TINY amount of space to work with here. During traffic, assuming you're going Eastward, you won't be going anywhere until it clears. If you're going Westward, it might go a little quicker, but there's a better and faster way to go that way as mentioned without much delay in the passageway that goes past the old pawn broker. For those who leave Eastward, it's best to come when the traffic is non-existent. Anyway, things aren't 100% bad. 7-11 is still an excellent place to go, chill out, enjoy a nice drink late a night, and get some decent bites, with the aforementioned caveats where the pizzas are concerned. They offer more hot food that Maverik tends to, unless you want a donut or snacks. 7-Eleven has good looking hot dogs on the rollers and other cylindrical hot snacks most nights and a dispenser for chili and nacho cheese. I ought to try the hot dogs sometime and see if they have a similar spectacular effect on my guts (I sure hope not! XD). They're around 1.79 each. The pizzas are around 6.00, which is quite affordable and they'll bake the pizza on the site, and rapidly! I imagine that this is quite the boon for the homeless anywhere there's a 7-Eleven, assuming they didn't have similar complications. XD
